New York Life’s employee newsroom serves as an important communication hub but lacked the engagement and visual identity needed to support the company’s evolving enterprise brand.
I conducted a competitive analysis of 15+ leading corporate intranets before redesigning the experience around stronger storytelling, intuitive navigation, and social-inspired content features.
The resulting concepts aligned the newsroom with New York Life’s broader rebrand while encouraging employees to discover, engage with, and contribute content.
Inviting Employees into the Conversation
To encourage employee participation in New York Life's internal newsroom, I designed a campaign that simplified the story submission process while making participation feel approachable and rewarding. The result was a clear, visually engaging call-to-action aligned with the newsroom's refreshed identity.
